IMPECCABLE – Live On The Rox. Rockadrome Vintage 057-V2. FACTORY SEALED NEW LP. Originally recorded August 24 and 25, 1979 and issued on the local GBC label. Includes 2 bonus tracks recorded September through November 1978 as Axxe (pre-Impeccable). Remastered. MEMBERS:  Darren Welch (lead guitar, background vocals), Don Allison (lead vocal, percussion), Richard Rico (bass guitar), and Morris Payne (drums). TRACKS:  Call Of The Wild, Traces Of Time, Seashore, Lizzy, Live Wire, No Other Way, and Johnny B. Goode. BONUS TRACKS:  Rock Away The City and Through The Night. DESCRIPTION:  Impeccable, from Lubbock, Texas, are hard rockers with great songwriting ability. Originally known as Axxe, the band members released a single and switched names to Impeccable. Sadly, the band would only release one self-produced album, recorded live material. The singing; the wailing guitar; everything is in place to push this band into the mainstream of the time. This begs the question of whether this band could have reached a level of success if they had made it into the studio for a professional recording session. As it is, this no-frills album has spread through the vinyl collector underground and has received a strong reputation. Good music is timeless and however it came to be, it is. Luckily, Rockadrome Records has recently reissued this nearly forgotten album and provided us with some up to date remastering. The album also includes two bonus tracks released as by Axxe, which name the band had originally gone by.
