This is a very good original U.S. pressing copy of the debut LP by R.E.M., released in 1983. One of the group's best, the record features a more muted sound than subsequent releases, as its title suggests. Highlights include the single "Radio Free Europe" and tracks like "Pilgrimage," "Laughing," "Talk About the Passion," and the lovely "Perfect Circle." The jacket is in fine overall condition with light staining in one corner, and some mostly light creasing and wear around the edges (EX-). The disc has a fair amount of scraping and scuffing, but it plays well with some light surface noise -- splitting the difference, VG+. The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (VG: two seams partially split, rippling and creasing).
I’m helping a friend sell his personal collection. I have play graded (spot checked) discs. The jackets will be shipped in plastic sleeves with the discs removed from them.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
