The auction is for the album The Stranger by the Billy Joel published in 1977 by Columbia (JC 34987).  In my opinion the vinyl record is in very good to excellent condition (I note how I cared for it below).    The inner sleeve with photos and lyrics is in fair to good condition - it does have one small tear (about 1.5" on one side) from where the record contacted it The outer jacket is in very good condition with minor signs of being stored with other records  Please see the photos
I am the original owner and I bought the album back in the 80s.  I have always taken care to keep my records in good condition, before each playing I would use the Discwasher cleaning system and I would also clean the stylus on a regular basis with the Discwasher stylus cleaning brush.  
How I pack the record for shipping: The vinyl record is placed in a new inner sleeve The original inner sleeve is placed on the outer jacket The record (in the new sleeve) is placed on the original inner sleeve All of these are placed into a new outer sleeve with the opening orients 90 degrees from the inner sleeve (so the record won't fall out) These are then placed into a mailer specifically made for record albums, with cardboard spacers on each side Shipping to destinations in the USA is via USPS Media Mail and outside the USA is via USPS First Class International Mail.
