Bought used and just played once on my new Denon turntable/cartridge.
Yeah - I was big into Quad in the day - had the top of the line JVC receiver, four Advents and two turntables - one just for quad - and a quad tape deck...
I rate these LPs on sound mostly - then cover, inserts, LP sleeve, etc. I care about the sound the most.
I've cleaned these LPs with my Discwasher and Zerostat - if you need more than that, you have some dirty LPs.
Original 1974 US LP on Capricorn Records THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND "Eat a Peach" 2C4 0102
This is a QUADRAPHONIC pressing CD-4 two LPs
VG+/VG+: very solid VG+, both disc and jacket - jacket has light edge creasing and lightly bumped corners (it has seen better days for sure) - discs has light marks that do not affect sound. Original Capricorn LP Sleeves in VG shape
Side #1 -Very quiet in between songs - a few clicks here and there. What a great side 1 of any LP!. Side #2 - A few clicks at the beginning of the side. Side #3 -Very quiet in between songs - sounds close to perfect, a crackle here or there, but rare... Side #4 - A click or two at the beginning - probably the quietest of all sides...
Shipped with insurance.
I'm recording my entire QUAD LP collection (about 50 or so) and will be selling them as I do so - check back to see other items.....
Some very rare ones indeed!
