Three vintage World’s Greatest Music, Philharmonic Transcription 78RPM Shellac Record Sets. Includes the following titles:
Mozart - Symphony No. 40 In G Minor, 3 Records
Tschaikowsky - Nutcracker Suite, 3 Records
Debussy - Afternoon of a Faun, Clouds and Festivals, 3 Records
These discs were recorded and pressed by RCA Victor,using musicians under their contract, as cheaply as possible in 1938/39.
Nevertheless they became a great success, having sold over 1 million copies by 1940.
They are NOT tested and are sold AS IS, but are visually in good condition.
The outer covers show their age with some edge/spine wear and staining.
The protective sleeves and the included introductions of the composers are in very good vintage condition.
