This album could quite possibly be the first Southern rock LP ever. Recorded and mixed in two weeks, The Allman Brothers debut release set the stage for their musical endeavors for years to come. The early version of Whipping Post alone is worth this album’s cost.
The LP has very minor scratches and scuffs that don’t affect playback. The cover is in great shape but does show a little wear around the edges.
