Mama Cass Elliot Signed 45 Vinyl The Mugwumps Mamas and the Papas RnR HOFer that passed away much too young at the age of 32yrs old.
This is a very rare white label promo 45 of The Mugwumps signed by Cass Elliot with her full last name making it extra special. Cass would often sign her name as “Mama Cass” omitting her last name. The Mugwumps was the band she recorded with before joining The Mamas & The Papas being recruited by Denny Doherty himself! He knew the greatness of her voice and convinced John Phillips to bring her into the band. The rest is rock-n-roll history!
She was posthumously inducted into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame along with her Mamas & Papas band mates in 1998. Her amazing voice was all over such great songs as “California Dreamin’”
