This is an album that The BEATLES were listening to, and covering songs which influenced their own music.

The influence from BUDDY HOLLY AND THE CRICKETS was something they spoke of in interviews too, it certainly wasn't a secret, or an assumption! They even famously cut an acetate of their version of "That'll Be The Day" as 'The Quarry Men'.

Here's the album that included all the top tracks and hit singles, including "RAVE ON", "HEARTBEAT" and "MAYBE BABY".

This landmark Rock and Roll album is full of great songs, and an essential album in music history.
