PRINCE - Controversy (1981 original Warner Bros. LP) VG/EX(-)
This is an overall fine original U.S. pressing copy of Prince's fourth LP , released in 1981. It features two top 10 R&B hits, "Let's Work" and the title track. The jacket looks good overall, but does have some flaws, the most significant of which are some staining and a little light warping (presumably from water), and some small tears and wear on the spine and seams (see photos). It also has some creasing along the spine and seams (VG). Visually, the disc is clean with some light scuffing. The first track-plus of side 1 plays with light surface noise, while the rest of the record plays solid EX -- overall EX(-). The record comes with a company inner sleeve, but lacks the poster.
I’m helping a friend sell his personal collection. I have play graded (spot checked) discs. The jackets will be shipped in plastic sleeves with the discs removed from them.
