SWANS - Children of God (1987 Caroline 2LP w/inners; NYC group) VG+/EX
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of a 1987 double LP by NYC experimental rock group the Swans. The gatefold jacket has one notable flaw, some light warping and staining (visible inside the gatefold) in one corner from water. It's otherwise close to M- with light ring wear and a little light wear around the edges (VG+). Both bottom seams have come partially unglued. Visually, the discs are clean with a little light staining. There was some light crackling and a few light pops in side 1, track 2, when I play-tested it, but the discs otherwise play very well with some light surface noise (sides 3-4 play solid EX to M-) (EX). The record comes with custom inner sleeves (VG+: modest amount of rippling, no splits).
I’m helping a friend sell his personal collection. I have play graded (spot checked) discs. The jackets will be shipped in plastic sleeves with the discs removed from them.
