Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as VG+, I numerically scored the audio a 79 with the A-side playing a 75 and the B-side an 82 (so a VG+- for the A-side and VG++ for the B-side), the driving issue on the A-side is a needle scratch running 28mm from the end of track A1 through the middle of A3. No kidding, typically Japanese vinyl is indestructible and when I saw this I didn't even think there was going to be an issue but there is and while there are no loud pops I heard it every time like a super light tick; it just doesn't look like it will sound like it does. Beyond that issue there are some spots of light surface noise in occasional spots, on the B-side this is more noticeable on B2 and less on B3. Finally, for more disappointment even though Lapti Nek is the final track on the A-side it's not actually from Jabba's Palace, it's a separate version. Not Jedi Rocks but not as good as the version in the movie. On a final good note, Yub Nub is there and goes right into the end credits just like it's 1983 again.
The sleeve is scored as VG+ as well showing light corner wear, wear to the top gatefold along with an indentation running 17mm along with a number of smudges on the front cover and to a lesser degree on the rear sleeve. The inserts show only light wear. The top of the OBI has a small tear and I have attempted to capture these issues within the pictures. Numerically, the sleeve is a solid 80.
Album will be mailed in a cardboard mailer between cardboard with bubble wrap. If you have any questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
