Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as NM-. I numerically score the vinyl a 96 with the driving issues being a bit of surface noise at the start of A3 (the talking part of The Prisoner) along with a bit more noticeable at the start of B1 (the talking intro and a bit into the track, numerically this track was more like a 93) along with sounded like a missed dust fleck on B3 (Total Eclipse, on the Japanese press they were able to squeeze Total Eclipse and Gangland and it's wicked good!!).  Visually this is about as close to NM as can be however there are a couple faint marks on the B-side and this is yielding the excellent rating.  Again, against progress I played this album two nights in a row because it was so good.  You will not be disappointed.
The sleeve is scored as EX mostly related to discolorations spots that are mostly visible on angles although there is a spot directly above the M in Number.  The corners show light wear and there is a faint crease running in from the spine at 7mm.  There is a discoloration spot on the insert.  There is no poster or OBI.  Also despite the discoloration spots there is no 'Japanese Mold' smell (it's unique to Japanese albums and if you know you know; it's not nice).  Straight on at arms length it looks essentially perfect.  Numerically I score the sleeve a 89 which I feel is the upper end of the excellent spectrum.
