Vinyl is clean and glossy with very minimal surface marks. Play tested in random spots. Plays clean with very low surface noise, high VG++ almost an EX. Sleeve also very light wear, VG++ as well. Overall excellent player copy

Record will be shipped outside of jacket in a new plastic anti-static archival sleeve, both in a new plastic outer sleeve, as shown in last picture

This does not mean the record is a 1st pressing exclusively. Please refer to Vinyl etchings on inner groove if you'd like to research specific pressings. We play test records by checking for warp, playing the beginning of each side, and a few random places throughout the record to determine a well-rounded grade. If you would like a record play tested in full, please message prior to purchase. Testing is done on a modern Nu Mark table or a vintage Yamaha, properly calibrated. Inferior quality tables may produce lesser results. Ultimately, grading is subjective, but we believe our feedback will show accuracy based on common standards. 

Records will be shipped in cardboard records mailers via USPS media mail.  Please see other auctions. We have purchased multiple lots of used records and have lots more listings coming. Record grading: Below are details of how records are graded. Records are graded conservatively and follow Gold Mine's grading standard. The vinyl grade is first followed by the sleeve grade. If there is a noticeable mark on the record, there will be a picture in the description following the picture of that side of the record. So, first will be a picture of the vinyl side A or B, then will be a closer picture of whatever flaw there is taken in a brighter, more direct light. Most flaws look more significant in the bright lighting then they really are to the records play. Sleeve grading is a bit more evident in the picture itself. I will never grade a used vinyl higher than a NM-. I will never grade a used sleeve higher then an EX+. Anything given those grades is the best one could expect for an open copy.

Grades are as follows:

SS: Still sealed: Record is in its original seal and has not been played.

NM- Near Mint Minus. The highest grade I will give a used record. Shiny surface free from any visibile mark. The only thing better is a new record in sealed shrink wrap.

EX Excellent. Used to differentiate a record just barely not mint. Will have only one visible flaw that is certain to not effect playback.

VG++ Very good plus plus; A great record that will have a very minimal amount of light visual marks on the disc with little to no effect on the sound

VG+: Very good plus. The record has been played regularly and is showing minor signs of wear . Surface marks are evident and there will be minor audible clicks and pops

VG: Very good. A well played, average record with more visibile surface wear than above grades. Will have audible clicks, pops and surface noise but will play through without skips.

VG- : Very good minus. Deeper more apparent scratches or scuffs that will effect the play of the record, but will still play through without skips or interruption. The lowest grade I would list unless the record is particularly rare.

G: Good. Heavy wear, deeper scratches and noticcable sound quality deterioration, possibly with distortion, loud clicks, and pops. Possibly skipping.

All of my products are thoroughly checked during the procurement, listing and shipping processes. I try to grade conservatively because I'd rather you be pleasantly surprised by the quality of a record then disappointed. Grades are, of course, subjective and I sometimes miss things. Previously owned products I normally don't know the origin of however, and it is possible these products came from homes with pets and smoking before I got them.
