Grading for vinyl record and label:

I listen to records before listing. Skipping, repeating or cracked records are discarded. Light static for more than a few seconds, the maximum grade is VG.

NM Near Mint - no obvious signs of wear, no writing on label.

EX Excellent - (some call this grade VG++) Very light surface wear or marks visible.

VG+ Very Good Plus - Record surfaces may show slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Label may have light ring wear.

VG Very Good - Vinyl luster may be reduced from use, labels may have marks or show some wear, sound quality will be good though very light back ground noise may be noticeable on some VG records.

Sleeves

I do not grade sleeves. Photos are provided for your observation. Where original sleeves are not available, a clean new white paper sleeve is provided. All records and paper sleeves are enclosed in a protective plastic record cover.
