GRADED TO THE RECORD COLLECTOR STANDARD LISTED BELOW + IN THE DESCRIPTION MEANS SLIGHTLY BETTER - SLIGHTLY WORSE. 

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. (We do not use this grade for our used items)

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality with no crackle.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, no noise during loud passages there may be slight background noise on intro/outro and quiet passages but it will sound fine on headphones.  (We will also use VG- and VG+ to position items within this category)

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion background noise but will be listenable but best for speakers and discos not headphones.(We will also use G+ and G- to position items within this category). Please be aware that 'Good' is a relative term here in this system.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise throughout the listening experience will be compromised it however will play through without jumping.
