Set of Four George Carlin albums, vinyl 1968-73 various VG
This is a set of the first four George Carlin albums.

The first is Take-offs and Put Ons, the first solo album that George recorded in 1967. It contains several classic Carlin bits such as the original Wonderful Wino and Al Sleet the Hippy Dippy Weather Man. This copy is a reissue from 1972. The copy’s cover is in good condition and shows moderate wear on the edges. It has a catalogue sticker and an owner’s mark on the front. The vinyl is in excellent condition with no scratches or scuffs and plays well.
Track List Side One – Wonderful WINO (Top-40 Disc Jockey); Commercials; Daytime Television Side Two – The Newscast; The Indian Sergeant

George Carlin’s second solo album is FM & AM and it contains several bits that began his shift from his original style to more social commentary, much like the transition radio was going through at the time. The track Shoot marks the first time that George uses a swear word in a bit, but the album also contains some of his most hilarious early work, such as Son of WINO and Divorce Game. This copy’s cover is in very good condition and shows only moderate wear. It has a catalogue sticker and an owner’s mark on the front. The vinyl has been taken care of and is in beautiful condition with no scratches or scuffs and plays well.
Track List Side One (FM) – Shoot; The Hair Piece; Sex in Commercials; Drugs; Birth Control Side Two (AM) – Son of Wino; Divorce Game; Ed Sullivan Self-Taught; Let’s Make A Deal; The 11 O’Clock News

George Carlin’s third solo album is Class Clown and it completes his shift from his original style to more social commentary, including some rather critical commentary on his Catholic upbringing. The track Seven Words You Can’t Say on Television was a monumental breakthrough at the time and some radio stations that played it got in trouble, but at least two of them have become at least marginally acceptable on TV. The album also contains the gut-busting Class Clown and I Used To Be Irish Catholic. This copy’s cover is in very good condition and shows only moderate wear. It has an owner’s mark on the front. The vinyl has been taken care of and is in beautiful condition with no scratches or scuffs and plays well.
Track List Side One – Class Clown; Wasted Time; Values Side Two – I Used to Be Irish Catholic; The Confessional; Special Dispensation; Heavy Mysteries; Muhammed Ali-America The Beautiful; Seven Words You Can’t Say On Television

George Carlin’s fourth solo album is Occupation Foole. It’s an album full of his trademark commentary on goofy shit but does have another landmark bit, Filthy Words, that also got some radio stations in trouble. This copy’s cover is in very good condition and shows only moderate wear. It has a catalogue sticker and an owner’s mark on the front. The vinyl has been taken care of and is in beautiful condition with no scratches or scuffs and plays well.
Track List Side One – Welcome to My Job; Occupation Foole; White Harlem; The Hallway Groups; Black Consciousness; New York Voices Side Two – Grass Swept the Neighborhood; Childhood Cliches; Cute Little Farts; Raisin Rhetoric; Filthy Words
