Thelonius Monk "Genius of Modern Music, Vol 2" - Blue Note (# 1511 mono) in a cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Very Good+ (VG+) .The label has the Lexington Ave address on both sides. The address on the outer sleeve is 63rd St so most likely a 2nd issue in 1957. The inner record "signature" contains a hand-etched "RVG", Plastylite 'ear' & album #. The "9M" etching is also present. All of these etchings are on BOTH sides of the album. The album is a "flat edge" pressing reflecting production dates of 1956/57. The outer case is only Good condition (G). The front & back covers are in excellent shape, yet the top has seam splits on the the left & right sides. The spine is entirely split. Thankfully, the bottom is close to excellent condition with no splits. (all reflected in the photos)
