RARE Phil Collins/Genesis NBC Radio LP Countdown to Christmas 1985 W/ B. Crystal
This very rare vinyl record of Phil Collins and Genesis on "Countdown to Christmas." Hosted by Billy Crystal. This 1985 LP, released by NBC Radio Entertainment, features interview bits with Phil Collins and Mike , Rutherford, and commentary from Billy Crystal. You can see a track listing and rundown in the photos. I’ve attached. The album is in near mint condition and comes with a generic sleeve and no outer cover. It is very rare and a perfect addition to any collector's library.
I would grade the record as near, mint or near mint minus, but I’m not an expert in this area, so I just put excellent. There are no discernible scratches. There is some dust as I do not have a vinyl record cleaner and I didn’t want to touch it.
I believe the generics sleeve is original to the piece. I have included a cardboard, backing and plastic record sleeve for protection. Also, it’s my understanding that when this was sent out to the radio stations, there was a rundown sheet included, that was not included when I purchased this item, but I was able to find a photograph of that rundown sheet and made myself a little copy so I’m including that as well and you can see that in the photos. It’s not super clear but you can read it.
