Milton Nascimento “Milagre Dos Peixes” 1974 Quadraphonic 2nd pressing EMI/Odeon Brazil XSMFOB 3762 (# 12” XQMOFB-3762 / 7” Q7B-652) in a “poster-style” laminated gatefold cover. The 12” album is Very Good+ (VG+) with some pops that only last a few seconds; the 7” record is Excellent (EX). Although the cover states “Stereo”, BOTH labels on the 7” & 12” are printed with the ‘Quadraphonic’ notation and the records are playable on a stereo cartridge. Also, the 7” is a 33 RPM speed. There is a sticker on the 12” label. The outer case is VG+ with a very minor ding on the top left and there is a sticker on the top right. The rainbow inserts & inner gatefold purple sleeve are excellent. (all reflected in the photos)
Overall, this is a unique, elaborate presentation - I’ve never seen any record remotely close! First of all, there are 2 records - a 12” with 8 tracks & a 7” with 3. The cover is a laminated fold-out “poster” revealing a purple gatefold inner sleeve with both the 7” & 12” albums as well as 5 inserts cut in a cascading ‘rainbow’ pattern which list the musicians on each track. The photos do not do it justice - this one should be seen in person. And, it’s a Quadraphonic release to boot! (playable on stereo) A hard album to find in the U.S.
Both records will be in their own protective sleeves within case. All sales final.
