Set of two albums from Comic Relief, vinyl Various Artists 1986-88 Rhino NM
This is a set of two albums that were released to commemorate the performance of the original Comic Relief Benefit for the homeless in 1986 and the second show in 1987.
The first comic relief record is a veritable who-who of comedians in the late 80s, including appearances from George Carlin, Dick Gregory and the Firesign Theater (see the track list for all) and was hosted by Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal. This copy is in excellent condition and shows very minimal wear on the cover. The vinyl also is in beautiful condition with no scuffs or scratches and plays well.

The second album here is Comic Relief 2 from the second show in 1988. It has the same hosts but the cast of comedians is a set that did not appear on the first record, such as Peter Cook & Dudley Moore and Roseanne Barr, back when she was still funny. This record cover is in VG+ condition and it is still in the original (opened) shrink wrap, but it is also a cut-out that has a hole in one corner so I can’t quite claim near mint, but it’s damn close.
