The Horace Silver Quintet & Trio “Blowin’ the Blues Away” Blue Note Records 1959 1st pressing W. 63rd St address (# 4017 mono) in a laminate cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Very Good (VG) with minor surface noise and some superficial scratches. On Side 2/track 1 there is a small scratch at the end that causes a 1 second skip with a tick for only ~5 seconds. On track 2 there is a 1 second skip at the end; track 3 has some crackling at the end of the song. The following is on the runout groove:
Side A): (etched) BN-LP-4017-A ‘Plastylite ear’ (stamped) RVG
Side B): (etched) BN-LP-4017-B ‘Plastylite ear’ (stamped) RVG
The outer case is Very Good Plus (VG+) with a 4” split in the middle of the spine. The top & bottom seams are excellent with no splits. The front cover laminate is smooth, glossy & vibrant. The back cover has a few minor ink writings. (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.
NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
