After Lennon's brutal murder in 1980 Yoko Ono had the unenviable task of handling his recorded legacy. She did a great, great job. This album, is part of a deconstruction of some of the production used on some of his songs, ala Double Fantasy Unplugged and also partly a gathering of finished tracks Lennon hadn't released on Rock N Roll. It might be a bit of a mish mash as a play through collection of new songs, but it scores five stars as a gathering and treatment of tracks that any fan was hoping for every day. Almost all of these tracks or versions do not appear anywhere else.
