John Coltrane “Coltrane” Prestige Records 1958 reissue with the alternative red cover (# 7105 mono) in a laminate cardboard sleeve. Bergenfield, NJ address on both labels / Abbey pressing. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+) with just a few pops overall and hardly any background hiss nor crackle. Frankly, I’m grading it on the conservative side as it is close to EX.  The following is on the runout groove:


Side A): (etched) PRLP-7105-A  (stamped) AB RVG

Side B): (etched) PRLP-7105-B  (stamped) AB RVG


The outer case is Excellent (EX). The front cover is smooth & glossy with a vibrant red-tinged color. There are tiny dings to the top & bottom of the spine. There are no splits. (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.


NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom. This item will also be insured for the full sale value at my cost.
