This auction is for the 12'' vinyl single - Gregory Isaacs & Ranking Banabas - Tumbling Tear b/w How Can I Change My Mind. Circa 1977 GG's Jamaican 12" Dread Disco Mix. The record plays with some light surface noise, occasional light, little crackle, still an enjoyable listen and well worth having.. FREE Royal Mail 1st class delivery for the UK. Please note - I play all my records, both sides, to check for any defects, I will mention anything I notice in the condition report. Listened to using my mid-range Audio Technica ATLP 120 deck with an Ortofon cartridge. Please check out my other items I have for sale, as there are more reggae 12" singles listed.
Condition: Visually, the vinyl has some light marks/hairlines/scratches, + there is a little raised bit/ding about 1cm in from the edge on "a" side (possible factory fault or knock), this does not affect the play of the record, with NO skips or jumps, so, overall, visually, the vinyl = only very good, as already mentioned, the record plays with some light surface noise, + occasional light, little crackle, but, still an enjoyable listen and well worth having. The labels = very good +. The picture sleeve = good condition. When grading my records I use the Record Collector Magazines grading guide: Excellent = The record will show some signs of being played, but very little lessening in sound quality. The cover etc. may have slight wear or creases.
Very good = The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major sound deterioration, despite noticeable surface marks / light scratches. The cover would have normal wear and tear - no major defects unless mentioned. Each description might be tweaked with a + or - . As already mentioned, I play all my records and will comment on anything noticeable.
