Chet Baker “The Trumpet Artistry of Chet Baker” 1958 second pressing, deep-groove label World Pacific Records (# PJ-1206 mono) in a cardboard sleeve. Album title appears on rear sleeve and center labels. Track B6 title appears on the back cover as “Tommy Hawk”, and as "Tommyhawk" on the record label. The record grading is Very Good (VG). It’s clean and plays well with great fidelity. Side 1 has some intermittent light crackling on softer parts. Side 2 is VG+-to-EX with minimal background noise at all. The following is on the runout groove:
Side A): (stamped) PJ-612-VIC-D1 H
Side B): (etched) PJ-ST-613-D1 12"∆31
NOTE: It’s rare to have one runout ID stamped and the other side’s etched.
The outer case is also Very Good (VG). Both covers are clean with minor age wear. The top seam has a ~3” split at the spine. The bottom seam has a ~1.5” split at the spine and ~4” split at the opening. That said, the cover is sturdy and deserving of a “VG” grade due to the quality of both of the covers. The original inner sleeve is included. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.
