2 "Treasury Song For Today" radio show transcription discs produced by The United States Treasury Department.  Eight complete radio programs on these two 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm discs.  These discs were issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, very rare

Programs were broadcast to promote the sale of War Bonds during World War Two.  Disc is circa 1943

There are a total of eight complete radio programs, each program is approximately 5 minutes or a little longer.  Each program incluces a song performed by the star of the show.  The song in each show is selected by a serviceman returning from combat duty, who appears on the show to give the song selection.  A brief story of the serviceman's military service is given by the announcer
