The Red Garland Trio “Groovy” 1957 first pressing DG Prestige Records NYC label  (# PRLP 7113 mono) in a laminate cardboard sleeve. This is a Rudy Van Gelder (RVG) / Abbey Manufacturing Plant pressing. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+). Plays well with robust fidelity and Red’s piano coming through cleanly. There's some background crackle on softer parts. Visually, there are some hairline surface marks and a few smudges, yet the vinyl is clean & glossy. The following is on the runout grooves:

Side A): (etched) PRLP-7113-A AB (stamped) RVG B

Side B): (etched) PRLP-7113-B AB (stamped) RVG B

The outer case is also Very Good Plus (VG+). The front cover laminate is clean, glossy and smooth with no marks. The back cover has very mild age wear and a couple of tiny stains. The spine has some cracks, yet the catalog # is easy to read. The top & bottom seams just have minor wear. There are no splits. Overall, it’s very sturdy. (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.

Shipping via USPS Priority Mail. This item will also be insured for the full sale value at my cost.
