Pink Floyd “The Wall” 1979 first edition Sata Maria pressing Columbia Records (# PC2 36183 stereo) in a glossy gatefold cardboard sleeve. Both records’ gradings are Excellent (EX). Spot play tested with great fidelity and no skips. There's some light background noise on quieter passages, but nothing that affects the music playing through. Visually, the vinyl is very clean with mild superficial surface marks. The following is on the runout groove (NOT in photos):
Side A): (etched) \S PAL36184-1C (stamped) TML X
Side B): (etched) \S PBL-36184-1AB (stamped) TML M
Side C): (etched) \S PAL-36185-1AB (stamped) TML S
Side D): (etched) \S PBL36185-1A (stamped) TML M
NOTES:
* "\S" in runouts denotes Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Santa Maria.
* Right inside panel of the gatefold cover lists the 'Produced By:’ “David Gilmour, etc.” as the topmost credit. Later copies list Roger Waters' at the top.
* Right inside panel of the gatefold cover has no ‘Written-By’ credits for all Pink Floyd members - only "Words and Music" Roger Waters, (Gilmour and Ezrin).
* There is no barcode on the cover.
* Inner sleeves contain lyrics.
The outer case is also Excellent (EX). Both covers are smooth, clean & glossy. The back cover has just some light marks and a very small “tear” above the Columbia “Eye” logo. The inner gatefold is clean, glossy & vibrant with almost no wear marks. The spine and both seams are EX with no splits. The cover is sturdy. The original inner sleeves with lyrics are included; some have staining, but nothing that hides the lyrics from being readable. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.
