Red Garland with Ray Barretto “Manteca” 1958 first deep groove pressing Prestige Records (# PRLP 7139 mono) in a laminate cardboard sleeve. The labels have the “W. 50th St, NYC” address. The record grading is Excellent (EX). It plays superbly with great fidelity and hardly any background noise. On Side 1/track 3 there were some visible surface marks (NOT scratches) which I played and confirmed they DNAP. Visually, the album is clean & glossy with some surface marks that DNAP. The following is on the runout groove:
Side A): (etched) PRLP-7139-A 8J (stamped) RVG
Side B): (etched) PRLP-7139-B 8J (stamped) RVG
The outer case is Very Good Plus (VG+). The laminate front cover is glossy & vibrant with hardly any age wear. The back cover just has very minor age wear and some handwriting at the top right-hand side. The spine has a small 1-½” tight “crack” in the middle and a couple of tiny dings. The top seam just has 2 pin sized dings and the bottom seam has a small ding near the opening. There are no splits and the cover is very sturdy. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.
