Hello! This is an auction for 6 1920s blues 78s on the OKeh label. They are Long Lonesome Day Blues/ Corn-Bread Blues by
Texas Alexander (OKeh 8511), Range In My Kitchen Blues/ Farm Hand Blues by Texas Alexander (OKeh 8526), The Train That Carried the Girl From Town/ Worried Blues by Frank Hutchison (OKeh 45114), Treat 'Em Right/ Baby, Will You Please Come Home by Lonnie Johnson (OKeh 8484), The Road Is Rocky/ Fair Thee Honey Blues by Mamie Smith and Her Jazz Hounds (OKeh 4194), and No. 12 Let Me Roam/ T-B Blues by Victoria Spivey (OKeh 8494). These records are in rough condition. The Texas Alexander and Mamie Smith records have strong scuffing and scratching to them along with some heavy groove wear. Along with scuffing and scratching, the Lonnie Johnson record has edge chips that don't get into the music and strong laminate cracks that are threatening to just become through-and-through cracks, although for the time being they are tight and seemingly confined to specific sides. The Victoria Spivey record has scuffs and scratches and also seems to have some heat damage to it that has made mild indentations on the record surface and is a bit dirty. The Frank Hutchison record, however, has more moderate general scuffing and scratching to it, but still is far from a perfect copy. None of these records are great copies of these titles. These records all have very noteworthy wear to them and are in varying degrees of rough condition. Keep this in mind when bidding. Good luck!

It should be noted that none of these 78s have been test played.
