Thelonious Monk Quartet Plus Two “At The Blackhawk” 1960 first deep groove pressing Riverside Records (# RLP 1171 stereo) in a cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Excellent (EX). It plays very well with no significant background noise and no ticks. Visually, it’s clean & extremely glossy with barely any visible surface marks. The following is on the runout groove:
Side A): (etched) RLP 12 - 1171 A 1171A
Side B): (etched) RLP 12 - 1171 B 1171B
NOTES:
* On both sides of the runout grooves the 1st etching of “1171” reads “1172” with the “2” crossed out.
* Stereo 1st press with deep groove black and silver labels having no "Inc" after "Bill Grauer Productions" at bottom of labels.
The outer case is Good Plus (G+). This is only due to the spine being entirely split. The front and back covers are clean with barely any wear. The top seam has been taped and it is holding together well. The bottom seam has minor wear and is VG+-to-EX with no splits. The cover is sturdy. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.
