Dizzy Gillespie “Gillespie” 1956 first edition Allegro Records (# 3083 mono) in a cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Good Plus (G+). The music plays through - quite well in parts, yet there’s background hiss and crackle. On Side 1/track 1 there’s a “tick-like” recurring hiss throughout. On Side 2/track 1 there’s a manufacturing defect that produces a low “thump-like” recurring sound for about ½ of the track. The outer case is Very Good (VG). The front cover is VG+ - it’s clean & smooth with light wear. There’s nothing on the back cover - just bare. The spine and both seams are VG+ with the top seam only having a small ¾” split at the opening. The cover is sturdy. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.
NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
