Bill Evans “Montreux II” 1970 original CTI Records “green label” (# CTI 6004 stereo) in a laminated gatefold cardboard sleeve. This release is a rare green label early pressing with “VAN GELDER” stamped & “RVG” etched on the runout grooves along with a date. The record grading is Excellent (EX). Spot play tested, it plays well with barely any background noise. Visually, the album is exceptionally clean with only superficial hairline marks. The following is on the run-out grooves (NOT in photos):

Side A): (etched) RVG.87657.A. 11-6-70 A9 (stamped) VAN GELDER

Side B): (etched) RVG.87657.B. 11-6-70 A (stamped) VAN GELDER

The laminated outer case is also Excellent (EX) - it’s smooth, glossy and vibrant. There are just some minor laminate peels & “bubbles” on it. The inner gatefold is clean with no visible marks. The spine and both seams are EX with no splits. The cover is very sturdy. (all reflected in the photos)  All sales final.

NOTE:  This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
