Just played on my Denon turntable.
I rate/price LPs on sound mostly - then cover, inserts, LP sleeve, etc. I care about the sound the most.
I'm listing my entire LP Collection, about 10 left (including Quad), as I record them. Look out for new listings.
Here are my gradings:
NM, EX, VG+, VG and G for the LP, the cover and the Sleeve/any other things included with the LP.
I very rarely sell LPs that skip, but I will note this. Sealed albums are presumed to be in MINT (MN) condition.
NM means that the vinyl/cover/sleeve looks/plays as though it is close to the first couple times.
EX means while the LP may play fine, there's something in the looks/sound that drops it from NM.
VG+ LP that looks/plays great, but may have one or two small defects. It may have a pop here and there or some occasional background noise or the cover/sleeve may not look perfect.
VG LPs will look/play great, but you’ll see more defects than a VG+ rated album. VG rated albums may even look/play well enough to be graded VG+, but blemishes affect the grading.
G is where I consider the collectible value of the album to be great enough that the copy being presented is worth owning as a filler copy.
LP has been cleaned and play tested. I pack carefully and ship in a new or used, but in good shape, LP mailer with the LP outside the original cover.
The LP plays through fine - NO SKIPS!
These results are on my equipment. You may or may not hear the same.
I deal on multiple LPs - contact me.
I also combine shipping - $2 additional per LP, in addition to the highest shipping in the group.
