Description:
Last year I purchased the remaining stock from a few distros and record stores that closed down. Now I have too many boxes of 7"s. I am offering this lot of 30 EPs at a reduced price with free Media Mail shipping in the US. The bands play various forms of hardcore punk, focusing on crust. These records would make a great addition to your collection.
ANODYNE - Berkowitz 7" (2001 Alone Records AL-015) Noisy math hardcore from Boston.
ASSAULT - Martyrdom 7" (2001 Partners In Crime PIC SIX)Slightly metallic hardcore from Japan
BREAD AND WATER / REASON OF INSANITY - Split 7" (2000 Burrito Records 14) Reason of Insanity Play fast aggressive hardcore without losing that toe tapping quality. The vocals are brutal and harsh, and their artwork is classic cut and paste punk. Bread And Water have political lyrics and they play straight forward hardcore with a bit of melody. Their main vocalist is a woman, and her voice is supplemented by the occasional burst of distorted growling.
CARDIAC ARREST - Life's A Dead End 7" (2006 Grave Mistake Records GRAVE016) Brand new EP from these Midwest ragers! On their second EP, St. Louis' CARDIAC ARREST deliver six more ripping tracks of fast and pissed hardcore, reminiscent of early Boston bands like NEGATIVE FX or the F.U.s. Clocking in six songs at approximately six minutes, this EP will have you floored before you even realize what hit you. Short, fast, raw, abrasive and in your face, exactly how hardcore was meant to be played.
CHILDREN OF BARREN WASTELAND 7" (1996 Profane Existence EXIST 038/ Skuld Releases 038) Twin Cities crust. Purple wax.
CHRONICLE A/D - Enough Rats In The Walls...And The Empires Fall 7" (2004 Hyperrealist HR008) This three piece features members and ex-members of Antischism, Initial State and Karst playing a powerful mix of dark, brooding hardcore and classic peace punk with dual vocals and definite political overtones.
DOG SOLDIER - Maniac 7" (2011 Whisper In Darkness) 4 unreleased and nearly lost tracks. Ripping thrash and hard punk impalement! The sound of metallic ENGLISH DOGS, ONE WAY SYSTEM and "bonecrusher" era BROKEN BONES from PDX stalwarts. This is a one time press of 500 copies.
DRAIZE 7" (2014 Bad Teeth Recordings BTR #005) These Boston powerviolence pros have returned with new material at last! This 6 song slab will seriously put you right back in your fucking place. One of the finest modern hardcore bands blast through approximately 10 minutes of pure aggression with the sweetest punk edge.
EVOLVED TO OBLITERATION 7" (1996 Clean Plate 11) Classic 1990s CA hardcore / power violence with Max from Spazz on vocals. Colored wax.
GUIDE - Bastard 7" (2011 Anti-Corporate Music / Burnt Bridges) Down-tuned breakneck hardcore and thrash from Murfreesboro TN. Crossing styles from 80s hardcore to powerviolence to straight up thrash metal 6 tracks in 9 minutes.
HALLRAKER - She 7" (1998 Phyte Records PY-009) Hardcore from Mass.
HUBRIS - Base Desire 7" (2011 Cricket Cemetery numbereight) (Members of State Violence, ex Death Rats) Laying down a litany of anger against an unjust world, Hubris comes thrashing up from the lost landscapes of Washington, DC to herald a terrifying battle cry for the pound of flesh owed to the dispossesed. Blown out and brutal beyond description, this solemn mob hurls the razorwire along the spine of such other unappologetically angry crust merchants as His Hero is Gone, Tragedy, and From Ashes Rise. Pressing of 300.
KILL THE MESSENGER - Five On Seven 7" (2000 Phyte PHY 019) San Francisco hardcore. White wax.
LIES FEED THE MACHINE - Gallows 7" (2009 Scream Records SR 014) Two year after their last record Lies feed the machine from Berlin are back with a new great, little piece of vinyl, named “Gallows”. With Marek of Insuciety and Ex-Mönster now on drums, their sound has developed in variety and you can expect piercing, sporadically metallicguitar riffs and pummeling basslines, backed with heavy ‘n rough d-beat drumming and angrily screamed vocals. Red wax.
LTW / BEASTS OF NO NATION 7" (2012 Cricket Cemetary CC#014) One label from the chocolate city, Washington, D.C., called Cricket Cemetry has done it again. They are about to release a killer split with LTW // Beasts of No Nation on May 21st. The LTW song is actually two songs in one, entitled “Lake Drug/Joy of Lying and Cheating,” and clocks in at around four minutes of pure blazing hot distorted awesome fury. The band are in the pocket from the get go – the screeching sound of feedback gets their part started. Then LTW began to bruise you all over with their punishing onslaught of speed and chaos. What really makes these songs work is how the band allow them to breathe in so much oxygen of originality, hence all of the wicked tempo changes! Hot damn, next up is the Beasts of No Nation song “Impunity,” which yanks your body and says, listen to this now motherfucker!!! There is nothing weak about this tune, and it reeks of demented melody that will stick in your thought pattern. The singer of Beasts of No Nation delivers the goods and the lyrics are on point. While listening to this record, I realized there must be something in the history of this town that gives so many of their bands that special unknown factor that makes their music so killer.
THE MAKAI / ATTACK OF THE MAD AXEMAN - Split 7" (2008 Subject To Suffering / Flowerviolence Records / Institut Fur Mentale Hygiene) California dark crust paired up with brutal German grind.
MEISCE - Bored Of The Dance 7" (2006 Fistolo Records FIST-016/Aborted Society Records ABSOC 010) Seattle-based crusty gritty punk n' folk with Gypsy, Celtic, and Eastern European influences. This band contains members of Countdown to Armageddon, Wormwood, Inhaste, and Slightly Less Than Nothing. Songs for drinking with friends and slaying the bastards all at once.
MUTILATED VETERANS / VASTATION 7" (2015 Morbid Reality Records MRR 020) Mutilated Veterans is the side project band formed by Dopi from Machetazo (rip) and Ramon from Looking For An Answer. Both bands playing raw Brutal Death Crust Punk!
NITAD - Nu Borjar Minnena Komma Tillbaka 7" (2009 No Way Records NW-42) Brand new 7" From Sweden's NITAD. On this platter they have 4 great tracks of their awesome brand of Swedish Meets US Hardcore punk. I really think this is definetly their best stuff to date. Best songwriting, best recording, best art, just all around perfect. The songs are catchy but just so powerful and in your face, it's rediculous. Incredible bass lines, Incredible guitar leads, pummeling drums and furious but well sung vocals all round this record out very well. This isn't rehash hardcore punk, that's why it's so hard to describe and their so underestimated, but do yourself a favor and pick it up.
RUNE 7" (2000 Clean Plate Records CP 33) Technical grind band from Ohio.
SAKE - The Desert 7" (1997 Hopscotch Records #8) Hardcore punk from Eureka CA.
SCUMBRIGADE / ENS 7" (1998 Död & Uppsvälld D&U005) Both bands are from Sweden and both play crusty hardcore punk.
SERVITUDE / EBOLA 7" (1998 Clean Plate Records CP30) Ebola returns with more blazing and angry political hardcore songs and a really nice looking 8 page booklet containing art and lyrics. Depressing and harsh. Servitude are equally vicious but way more crazed and frantic. Political thrash with no apologies and no mercy.
SPLITTING HEADACHE - The World's My Aim 7" (2007 Chainsaw Safety CS 028) SPLITTING HEADACHE combines the classic elements of West Coast punk /hardcore with the despondent sound of the Midwest early 80s sound. Six new songs about everything that’s not right in this world: and that’s just about everything!
SSR - Orwellian Future EP (2009 Desolate Legacy DL003) EP from this blazing Richmond, Virginia hardcore band. SSR are kind of tough to pigeonhole, and for me that's a great thing... this sort of reminds me of bands like Christ on Parade who toe that line between burly USHC and raw and straightforward European stuff like early Riistetyt.
WHIPPED / INHUMANE - We Need Our Wars 7" (1993 Sabotage;earth Records SAB-001) Crust and hardcore from Seattle.
WORLD BURNS TO DEATH - Human Meat 7" (2002 Prank Records 052) Blasting thrash ferocity torn out of Austin, Texas, World Burns To Death Debut 7" EP featured members of Severed Head Of State and Scorched Earth Policy. Ram-charging a raw Japanese punk influenced sound, an intense punk declaration against the insanity of war, this is one of the band's rawest releases. Repress on clear wax.
WORLD BURNS TO DEATH / SLANG 7" (2010 Prank 114) Crusty disbeat from Texas backed with Japanese hardcore.
V/A - UPS The Record 7" (1998 U.P.S. 01) With SIN DIOS, SHEARS, VISIONS OF WAR, PCP, POINT OF FEW, DEKADENT, and BOYCOT.
V/A - Welcome To Minneapolis 7" (2012 Profane Existence EXIST 126) Compilation of hardcore punk, crust, and thrash with PONX ATTAX, VARIX, IN DEFENCE, KONTRASEKT, FAVELA RISING, COGNITIVE DISSONANCE.
Item Condition:
The records are all new and unplayed. They have been languishing in distro boxes for years and have some edge wear (especially at the top) and minor corner bends. Price stickers (if any) are on the plastic sleeve, not the cover.
Some of these records come with download codes. Even though the codes have never been used, the website (like the band or the label) may be long gone.
