This sale consists of a collection of three successive volumes of 5 record sets each of 12” Long Play vinyl records:

·       RCA Victor LPT 6700 COLLECTORS ISSUE LIMITED  EDITION,  Number  EE 80. (First printing Grey labels)

·       RCA Victor LPT 6701 COLLECTORS ISSUE LIMITED  EDITION, Volume Two,  Number  UUUU 154.

·       RCA Victor LPT 6702 ENHANCED SOUND,  Original Issue.

  The three volumes of GLENN MILLER all share many of the same type of conditions:

·       They have been stored in their original shipping containers since the early 60’s by me, the original owner.

·       Each volume’s spiral binder is padded and covered with a colored leatherette material.

·       The spiral bound record sleeves are discolored, but have not been used.

·       The records are in individually loose in-factory sleeves between the unused bound sleeves.

·       All paper products show some yellowing effects of age

·       27 sides, of the 30 records available, have never been played. One (1) record from each volume has had at least part of one side played using a diamond stylus. I don’t remember which bands of the 3 discs that I had played. The records were played upon their procurement to confirm Glenn Miller was recorded.

 RCA Victor Collectors Issue LPT 6700 (Non-Breakable)

·       White cover with, “Glenn Miller (in script) and his Orchestra”, and “Limited Edition” are embossed in gold. (First Pressing)

·       Cover, front and back are covered with original temporary clear plastic protection. Plastic tape was use to better secure this covering material without effecting the cover.

·       Original individual gray record labels.

·       A biography of Glenn Miller by George Frazier

·       Glenn Miller Discography of each band for the 10 sides (Please see pictures)

·       Gold cover, with “Glenn Miller (in script) and his Orchestra” and “Limited Edition, Volume Two” embossed in brown.

·       Original individual black record labels

·       A biography of Glenn Miller by George Frazier

·       Glenn Miller Discography of each band for the 10 sides. (Please see pictures.

 RCA Victor “Enhanced Sound” LPT 6702 (F2PP-4747 thru 4757)

·       Cover with “Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band” embossed in black and visualization of Air Force Officers hat embossed in natural colors, with simulated sky as background. Signature of “Lombardoes” appears in lower right corner.

·       A Narrative of the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band by Producer George T Simon with pictures of the Band

·       A chronological list of the selections including the names of soloists

·       Original individual black record labels. 

 I have included only a few of the extracts or pictures that appear in the albums and copies are can be available upon request.  It may take a few days to do so because the albums are already packed for shipment. I am limited to 12 pictures for the 3 albums.

 The 3 albums will be double packed together with the original cartons. There are only two cartons marked as 6700 is it its own  & 6701 & 6702 were both purchased at the same time and both albums packed in the one carton.

 The history of Glenn Miller is well known and is profusely documented in public records, so it is not included herein.

 

Note: There is no return on these albums since a majority of the sides have never been played. If they are played by the buyer, they become used and not now in the original condition as shipped and therefore cannot be returned.

  BIDDING

PAYMENT

Full payment is expected within 4 business day by PayPal of the closing of the sale. If payment is not received within this time, a non-paying bidder complaint will be opened, and if not received within 7 days, it will be re-listed. I accept PayPal only. Your payment shall include your current "ship to" address and must be confirmed by PayPal before shipment is initiated. If insurance is required and included in the shipping cost, or if there are additional charges to the sale price, don’t pay until you receive an invoice which will include their charges.

 SHIPPING

The shipping costs and unusual packaging costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are identified in the item listing. Shipping will not be initiated until full payment with your “ship to” address has been confirmed by PayPal. We have no responsibility of shipping to an incorrect address. All items will be wrapped and packed personally or performed by a professional. Uninsured items are shipped at Buyer’s risk.

Note: All three albums will be packed together to lower their shipping costs. I have estimated shipping costs to New York City in my listing. If the shipping costs to your location is less,  I shall notify you of the actuals

 Shipping insurance is normally a buyer option at an extra cost and negotiated with the seller prior to closing of sale. This assures the insurance will be active and protects your investment.

Depending on the item and if the sale amount is over $250, a signature confirmation of receipt will be required upon its receipt. When required, this requirement will be included in the shipping costs and identified in the listing.

  Most shipping occurs within 3 business days after buyer’s payment has cleared PayPal and received by the seller. Standard shipping delivery is usually within 2-7 business days. I will notify you of the actual shipping date, updates and other pertinent information or if there is an unexpected delay in shipping. We usually ship by the method posted in the item listing at no charge to the buyer unless the bidder has requested a change.

Collection of State Sales Tax is dependent upon the geographic location of the addressee and will be added to the sale price by eBay.

SHIPPING INSURANCE   

Shipping insurance is usually a buyer option and is available at an additional cost and is not included in the listed selling price or shipping cost. If you do not get insurance, the seller will not be liable for item in shipping being lost, damaged or its replacement. All claims should be directed to the shipper. Because of certain parameters, shipping insurance may be required, i.e. value etc.

To apply for insurance, PLEASE contact me prior to making your bid. When requested: For auction, I will provide the then current cost of the insurance. For direct sales, I will provide you with the cost of the insurance so that you will know your ending price before bidding. Uninsured items are shipped at Buyer’s risk.  All claims should be directed to the shipper.
