SS  = Still Sealed: appears unplayed or factory sealed

NM = NEAR-MINT: no visible flaws on record or cover.

VG+ = VERY GOOD PLUS: light signs of wear, including light scuffs that does not affect the listening experience.  or very light scratches.  Cover will have very minor seam wear or a split.  Might also have a cut or punch hole on cover.

VG = VERY GOOD: Visible surface wear, some scuffs, still playable/enjoyable.  Cover has signs of handling, light ringwear, splits, very light discoloration, little writing, small cut-out or punch hole.

G = GOOD : Surface scuffed, some scratches, rarity makes it worth keeping.  Cover has heavy ringwear, longer splits, discoloration, writing, cut-out or punch hole.

F = FAIR : all the above only plays without skipping, again rarity    makes it worth keeping
