Details: In 1966, latin singer Jose Jose (then known only as Jose Sosa or Pepe Sosa) started singing and playing the bass with a notable bossa nova and latin jazz band called "Los PEG". The band played at the major jazz venues of Mexico City, where musicians like , and used to play. This was their very first recording (catalog number is EP 1) a true rarity that includes great versions in spanish of jazz and bossa songs by Jobim, Eduardo Lobo and Vinicius de Moraes. Some of them were written in spanish by Jose Jose himself as is clearly stated in the credits on the labels.
