Bill Berry and Ellington All-stars FOR DUKE - M&K Realtime RT-101 Jazz album LP
M&K REALTIME RT-101
FOR DUKE
BILL BERRY & HIS ELLINGTON ALL-STARS LP
A collectible album honoring Duke Ellington by Bill Berry, pressed in West Germany in 1980, a must for the serious jazz collector.
This is an album from an extensive collection of early jazz albums that I will be selling for a Vermont client, so look back often to take advantage of a wonderful collection.
I take a lot of pictures as they tend to show the condition better than I can describe them. Be sure and check out the pictures and ask for more if there is something specific you want to see.
RECORD - graded a VG+
minimal light scatches and a couple smudges but no impact on the listening experience. No warping of record
labels are solidly attached with barely noticeable wear around hole.
COVER - graded a G
no shrinkwrap - Peter Dunn's Vinyl Museum price sticker on the front cover (3.99) - seams have no splits - some chipping and corner wear and bumps (see pictures) - crease on front of cover (above for duke) - back cover shows shadow of where album sits in cover
CLEANING
I do a cautionary cleaning only, some light brushing with an approved audio carbon fiber brush and minimal use of audio cleaning solution if warranted. I do not professionally clean my records, I leave that up to the new owners.
GRADING
I utilize the industry standard for grading, Goldmine's, and I tend to grade conservatively.
PACKING
All records are shipped outside their covers, in new sleeves, packed between 2 sturdy corrugated cardboard flats and mailed in an approved record mailer.
