Description:
I have too many boxes of 7"s. This is a lot of 30 EPs offered at a reduced price. All the bands play hardcore/punk/grind of one form or another.

BLACK MERINOS 7" (2002 Hyperrealist HR000) Recorded in 1997 and originally slated for release in 1998 on the Passive Fist label, this recording finally sees the light of day. Black Merinos are a side project from many members of In/Humanity. Their sound is heavy, resonating, and full of droning hardcore. This powerfully noise 7" deals with the personal and political issues. A one time only release, this 7" will never be pressed again.

CAPITALIST CASUALTIES / LACK OF INTEREST - split 7" (2012 Six Weeks SW118) Repress without zine.

DEVOID OF FAITH - Denial By Machinery 7" (2001 Paralogy PLGY 007) Fierce Albany HC. They shared members with MONSTER X, HAIL MARY, LIMP WRIST, JOHN BROWN'S ARMY, and DAS OATH. Clear red wax.

MAINSTRIKE / DEVOID OF FAITH - Live 7" (1999 Paralogy PLGY-06) Devoid Of Faith does three tracks recorded live on WRPI radio in Troy, NY while Mainstrike does three tracks recorded live at a club in Amhem, Netherlands. Brutal hardcore from Devoid of Faith and more youth crew influenced hardcore from Mainstrike.

EVOLVED TO OBLITERATION 7" (1996 Clean Plate 11) Classic 1990s CA hardcore / power violence with Max from Spazz on vocals. Colored wax.

FAMILY CURSE - Julia Armant 7" (2011 Drawing Room Records DR00001) Hypnotic art-punk. Psychedelic without being “psych.” Throbbing rhythms. Can a melody be “brutal?” Doom Pop at its finest. Songs about decay, the Old World, war, disease, love and murder. Family Curse leave the beachheads in the sun, content to bask in their own mundane existence. Family Curse believes in the power of the song, that there is still meaning and worth left in metaphor, melody, and message. Family Curse places their trust in the intrinsic mystery of the unseen world. In the shadows, that is where the quest for answers must begin.

FIRE DOWN BELOW - G 7" (2002 Ed Walters Records EW-016) Hardcore from PA. Hand-assembled burnt cover.

THE GREAT CLEARING OFF / THE SOUND OF FAILURE - split 7" (2002 Ed Walters Records #006 / Sea Of Steel vol 2) Sometimes compared to '90s East Bay punk (Filth/Econochrist) mixed with a wide-eyed, idealistic sentimentality (The Hated). The GCO delivers strongly on this follow-up to their debut 7". Musically TSoF molds early Unwound's penchant for chaotic noise with a driving, John Henry West/End of the Line, guitar-driven hardcore. Lyrically, the intensely personal "Horsham Clinic" offfers a less glamorized look at the 'nervous breakdown'/'suicide' chic so popular these days.

KAROSHI - 7" (2009 Anti-Corporate Music Inc ACM-13 / Meat Cube Label MC03) Brooding and disturbed, rising to subtle crescendos and blistering climaxes, Karoshi unleash their first manifesto on the earth. Following in the legacy of Tennesse crust, Karoshi combine d-beats, fast-as-fuck thrash, and epic post-rock. For fans of Fall of Efrafa, From Ashes Rise, and Oroku. Pressing of 500.

KONTRAATTAQUE - Luchas Tragedias E Historias De Nuestra Gente 7" (1999 El Grito 03) Pissed political hardcore from Los Angeles. Comes with 20-page booklet.

LIGHTHOUSE PROJECT - Misanthropic Humanist 7" + DVD (2008 Combat Rock Industry CRI 058) Emotional 90s influenced sincere metallic hardcore - 4 new songs and a 60+ min DVD featuring live material and life on the road!

NEWGENICS - Eraser 7" (2005 Hyperrealist HR009) Their second EP with two more songs taken from the same recording session as their debut EP on Level Plane Records. Two rocking punk tunes with influences from Devo to Gang of Four. Features ex-members of Guyana Punch Line and Marion, but this time with vocalist Chris Bickel delivering less venom and bile and more attitude and style. Released as a cooperative release with three other independent labels (Stereonucleosis, Shock Value and Dangerously Small. Each with a different cover, the Hyperrealist version of this 7" is limited to 300 copies.

NIGHTBRINGER - Fight Like Hell 7" (2012 self-released) Michigan hardcore. Drawing influence from the slashing riffs of "give notice of nightmare", crashing open chords in the chorus and a splash of bit crushed distortion for emphasis, "fight like hell" is an all out burner dedicated to living at maximum intensity until your last breath, putting fear in the hearts of those who would oppress the human spirit.

ONCE AGAIN - As The Fire Went Out... 7" (1994 Element Records ELE001 / Outreach) Michigan hardcore.

PANZRAM / SHOPPERS - Split 7" (2012 IFB Records #049 / Feeble Minds Records FM#004) Panzram and Shoppers come together for a noisy punk parade on this little platter. Syracuse NY's Shoppers play the catchiest noise drenched punk you've ever heard, totally drawing you in with riffs that just remain in your head for days. All that backed up by great vocal work - haunting and full of attitude. Panzram returns from Ft. Myers FL to dish out another dose of mean and ugly non-traditional HC laced with hints of post-punk. If bands like Pollution, Walls, and Drugs of Faith are your thing, you will be right at home with Panzram's offerings.

THE PHANTOM PAINS / AMERICAN WEREWOLVES - split 7" (2004 This Blessing This Curse BLESSED05) Hardcore and horror punk on clear green wax.

ROTTING PALMS 7" (2012 IFB Records 053) Rotting Palms hail from the depths of Tampa, keeping true to that cities storied past of heavy and mean hardcore. These young punks take a powerful, plodding approach, focusing on bludgeoning riffs and pounding drums with vocals in the His Hero is Gone school. This is the kind of crust influenced heavy hardcore that makes me close my eyes and bob my head with clenched fists.

RUNE 7" (2000 Clean Plate Records CP 33) Technical grind band from Ohio.

SAKE - The Desert 7" (1997 Hopscotch Records #8) Hardcore punk from Eureka CA.

SAVAGE LAND - Honor Among Thieves 7" (Tension Head 001) Hardcore.

SAWCHUK - How Can You Live Like This? 7" (2011 Prospect Records Michigan hardcore on colored wax.

SERVITUDE / EBOLA 7" (1998 Clean Plate Records CP30) Ebola returns with more blazing and angry political hardcore songs and a really nice looking 8 page booklet containing art and lyrics. Depressing and harsh. Servitude are equally vicious but way more crazed and frantic. Political thrash with no apologies and no mercy.

SHORT CHANGED / DBGC - split 7" (2009 Goat Power Recreation GPR-006B / Mullet Death 001) Bay area hardcore punk on colored wax. Includes patch.0

SPLITTING HEADACHE - The World's My Aim 7" (2007 Chainsaw Safety CS 028) SPLITTING HEADACHE combines the classic elements of West Coast punk /hardcore with the despondent sound of the Midwest early 80s sound. Six new songs about everything that’s not right in this world: and that’s just about everything!

SSR - Orwellian Future EP (2009 Desolate Legacy DL003) EP from this blazing Richmond, Virginia hardcore band. SSR are kind of tough to pigeonhole, and for me that's a great thing... this sort of reminds me of bands like Christ on Parade who toe that line between burly USHC and raw and straightforward European stuff like early Riistetyt.

SUPPRESSION with FACIALMESS - Collaboration EP (1999 Clean Plate Records CP21) Noise collaboration between the almighty Suppression and Facialmess

SYNDROME 7" (2009 Desolate Legacy Records DL004) New band from richmond featuring Brandon from DIRECT CONTROL, GOVERNMENT WARNING on drums. This is nothing like his other bands. SYNDROME play dead on swedish style d-beat very much like TOTALITÄR and ANTI-CIMEX. Wild reverbed vocals and tons of raw energy.

THENCEFORWARD - From Within 7" (1995 Phyte Records 001) Atlanta hardcore similar to ICONOCLAST. Should have been on Ebulltion Records.

THENCEFORWARD - Winner 7" (1995 Phyte Records 3) Atlanta hardcore similar to ICONOCLAST. Should have been on Ebulltion Records.

TOTAL SHUTDOWN - Broadcast Performances 7" (2002 Life Is Abuse LIFE019) Total Shutdown's sound is like the Boredoms, Naked City, and Brutal Truth all in a mad race for the finish line. Hard jazz, thrash, and hardcore slap you in the face from the start with only short breaks for avant noodling and naïve melodies played on tinker-toy keyboards. Vocals are either Cookie Monster-styled growls or the screams and yelps that Eye from the Boredoms spits out. It would be easy to think John Zorn is their spiritual leader, but there's more of a party atmosphere than the rather serious saxophonist has ever attempted.
