Rare original '69 pressing of "1841 Broadway" label. The Bob Ludwig-mastered legendary "hot mix" pressing, pressings of this album are rarer than the regular copies of this album. His initials "RL" are etched in the dead wax on side 1 and side 2. In addition the dead wax is considerably shorter on one side than the other, which can only be found on Bob Ludwig mastered copies. All the wonderful elements of Bob Ludwig's trademark mastering style are here - incredible clarity and balanced channel seperation, vivid and spacious "ambience" sound, as well as wide dynamic and frequency range of the sound spectrum. Considered by many audiophiles to be the top version, it was re-mastered because most cartridges in cheap stereos couldn't handle the loudness, causing the LP to skip and causing many returns of the "defective" LP.
