Goldmine Record Grading:

Mint (M)
Perfect in every way. Record has never been played and most likely still sealed.

Near Mint (NM or NM-)
Nearly perfect record. The vinyl should have no noticeable signs of wear. The inner sleeve should only have very minor defects such as an almost hard to see ring wear or very slight signs of handling. The LP cover should be free of creases, seam splits, folds or cut out holes.

Very Good Plus (VG+)
The vinyl shows some signs of having played but well taken care of. The vinyl's surface may show slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or minute scratches which should not affect one's enjoyment. It may also have very slight warps that should not affect the sound. The cover and inner sleeve will show some slight wear, slightly turned up corners or small splits on seams. The cover may also have a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print.

Very Good (VG)
Surface noise will be noticeable when played but will not overpower the sound. Groove wear will start to show, as with light scratches deep enough to feel with finger nail will start to affect the sound. Labels may have some writing on them, as well as stickers or tape. This could also apply to the cover and inner sleeve.

Good (G or G+)
The record will still play through without skipping, but you will hear a bunch of surface noise as well as scratches. The vinyl will show definite groove wear that could overwhelm the music. The cover or inner sleeve will show splitting, writing, tape, ring wear or other defects.
