This is an American Two 33.3 RPM Long Playing Records Set by CHARLIE CHRISTIAN. The title is "Solo Flight - The Genius Of Charlie Christian". Label / Number is Columbia G 30779. Jazz Guitarist Charlie Christian died very young, but he left behind some fine recordings with the Benny Goodman Sextet and Orchestra. His Band Mates included Fletcher Henderson, Lionel Hampton, Cootie Williams, Benny Carter, George Auld and, of course, Benny himself. The 28 selections here include "Rose Room", "Gone With "What" Wind", "Royal Garden Blues", "Breakfast Feud", "On The Alamo", "Seven Come Eleven", "Wholly Cats" and "Solo Flight". Front Cover is signed by Lionel Hampton (see photo). This item comes from the estate of a Music Photographer, who collected autographs over the years. Also included is a flyer and menu from Wolfgang's in San Francisco, where the autograph was obtained. Records have a few very light scuffs, but play very well with fine fidelity. Labels have little wear. Gatefold Cover (with taped shrink wrap) has corner scuffs, light foxing and two stickers on the shrink. Condition is: Records - VG++ Labels - VG++ Cover - VG+(+) A Fine Item.
