The legendary Nile Rodgers and his band CHIC
release the brand new tracks ‘I’ll Be There’ and ‘Back In The
Old School’ to commence a new global recording contract with Warner
Bros. Records. A new album – the band’s first since ‘CHIC-ism’
in 1992 – will follow in June. The two new songs will be available
as a 12” which compiles album and instrumental versions of both
tracks. ‘I’ll Be There’ was inspired by Rodgers’ Chic
partner Bernard Edwards who died in 1996.
