LABEL ERRORS: These two records have four label errors: (1) “Rocky Racoon” instead of “Rockey Raccoon”; (2) “Revolution No. 1” instead of “Revolution 1”; (3) “Revolution No. 9” instead of “Revolution 9”; and 4) “Goodnight” instead of “Good Night.”

COVER: There is an asterisk (*) in the trail-off vinyl indicating a Los Angeles pressing. This is a reasonably low-numbered album, being A 0236278.

There is a cut-out notch in the lower left corner, which is unusual as Capitol most certainly did not delete this album from its catalog! So I am assuming that this was a radio station copy and that the jacket was notched so that it could not be returned for full retail value.

So, could this be a designated promo from 1968?

GRADING THIS RECORD

:

Jacket/cover visual assessment: The jacket is flat with reasonably squared corners and retains most of the luster on the front cover. There is some wear on the covers but both front and back are fairly clean. There is a four inch (4") seam split in the lower right corner of the second or back pocket of the jacket. There is also a small ink mark on the back cover.

Record visual grade: While the labels are like new, the records have obviously been played many times: there are paper scuffs and minor scratches on all four sides, none of which make a clicking sound when played on my modest turntable.

I am not in a hurry to sell this record, but I will consider reasonable offers below the Buy It Now price. I am especially receptive (and flexible) to offers if you buy more than two records! For those eBayers who are unfamiliar with my name, I am the author of the original line of Goldmine price guides for record collectors, which were published way back in the 20th century. SHIPPING TERMS:

United States: For USPS Media Mail, the first disc $4; each additional disc $1.00.

Canada: For standard international shipping, the first disc is $13; each additional disc is $3.00.

Worldwide: Before making an offer, please inquire as whether or not I will ship to your address. My insurance carrier does insure packages to some countries. For First Class International, the first disc is $19; each additional disc is $4.00.

Contact me immediately and we can put off your payment until the finalization of all transactions between us. I will hold all items until the following Sunday and then invoice you for the cost of all the items plus the discounted shipping of all those items in one package.

International shipments may not exceed four pounds (4 lb. or 1.8 kg) per parcel.

I cannot be responsible for postal transit time. I will offer expedited shipping options if you ask. 

1st Class International Mail is VERY SLOW and there is usually no tracking. Some items can take three weeks or more to arrive, frequently due to delays by your local Customs or Tax Office. Tracking is available with more expensive services like Express Mail.
