For auction is my copy of the original Rockathon Records vinyl pressing of Guided By Voices' Propeller LP.  #180 of 500.   GBV fan grail.  Hand made cover art attributed to Pete Jamison — very gestural spray paint work and similar to the other documented Jamison Propeller covers.  Not an RP collage, but if you're looking for your ticket to the Propeller Club, this is it.
Listed sleeve and record as M, but latter is more accurately still in plastic.  Never played.  Long posted on the GBVDB(dot)com Propeller Album Art page.  Take a look.

Acquired in 2005 when original Propellers and other rare GBV pressings were surfacing on Ebay and on fan boards more often  — Robert Pollard (via Rich T) and other band principals were posting the margins of their own stashes online, and perhaps the (at the time) final tour in Fall 2004 kicked up interest and a bit of urgency to the trade overall.  I was after #33, but rotating back from a military deployment overseas and nowhere near an internet connection (remember those days) during that Ebay auction close and this was the next the queue up a couple of weeks later.

Sad to revoke my Propeller Club membership here (maybe we could start a Propeller Club Alumni page somewhere) and an Ebay-bought 1dg of separation from the energy of its supernova making-of story — am still a fanatic re GBV and RP work, but doing some propelling of my own.
