VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR H To He, Who Am The Only One (Charisma CAS 1027) UK Pressing MINT!
RARE early UK pressing of Van Der Graaf Generator`s "H To He Who Am The Only One" on Charisma Records (December 1970).  This specific, absolutely perfect copy is a Charisma Records pressing with "Mad Hatter" labels, released in 1976.   "When you listen to this, you're thinking 'oh it's just a rip off of King Crimson', guess again, this isn't. It's almost a darker version of hell on this. And for Peter Hammill, let's say that he knows the score of not being a mainstream star and the punks like John Lydon, Mark E. Smith and David Bowie admiring him for his work and the successful job that he's doing either as a solo artist or with VDGG. He took the Prog genre and he realized that he wasn't going to sing about King Arthur or sing about a Yoga god-like warrior, he is the true storyteller of a prog version of Edgar Allen Poe. And once you add guest guitarist from King Crimson Robert Fripp to the band, you got yourself a full weekend to get yourself stoned like a motherfucker."  - ZM Nathanson for Julian Cope`s Head Heritage, January 2009.

- Essentially, this copy is unhandled, with the most minimal of storage wear.

- Perfect vinyl on both sides that will have impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- The record was bought new in the late seventies. By all accounts, it has never been played before. 
- No hairlines, scuffs, spindle wear or any other visible signs of previous play at all.
- Original second-pressing Charisma "Mad Hatter" labels, pure perfection.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "CAS 1027 1Y//2▽420 05 11 9" and "CAS 1027 2Y//1▽420 05 11 2".
- This record is hereby certified to be a second UK pressing of "H To He, Who Am The Only One" from 1976.
