Please be advised, I am not a “professional” record seller. I'm a record collector who collects, because he loves music, not to have the rarest or most pristine copy of a record. I won't list every mark, scratch, flaw, unless there is something major. You should assume there will be some. The majority of records that I sell are from the 60's/70's and have been listened to/enjoyed and have accumulated the wear and tear that goes with it.
I will never rate a record Mint or Near Mint, unless the record is unopened or only played once and to be honest those aren't the kind of records that I'll probably be selling. Typically, my records will be in the VG range. I'll sell something I consider G or below, unless it's rare, and in that case I will do my best to point out the flaws and let you know what you'll be getting.
