Best known for the hit single Woke Up This Morning, the loping, ominous theme song from The Sopranos, Alabama 3’s fusion of techno with country and western was astonishingly bold, combining the most radical and reactionary genres of popular music. Upon its release the album received critical acclaim, including an 8.9 review from Pitchfork Media.
