From that fascinating period in the Pink Floyd history when they’d moved far away from the Barrett era Psychedelia but had yet to fully realise that soulful Progressive potential that would eventually deliver some of the best music ever. This 1969 double had one record devoted to a live album on which some of that earlier material was played in a far more effective way than the original studio versions. The other record featured each member of the band working on a solo piece, experimenting in ways that produced stretched out explorations unlike anything else in the Pink Floyd catalogue. ‘Ummagumma’ to this day remains one of the bands least immediate albums but certainly one of their most rewarding after time...

VINYL: The albums are both in solid Excellent condition with a lush deep gloss and only very light evidence of use, really nothing more than the odd light paper scuff and brush mark but basically these are two superb albums

SLEEVE: This is a heavy duty gatefold sleeve that grades as Excellent; it shows no serious wear or affects from handling and the only two minor points to mention are a small bit of edge wear and a couple of places where early stage ring-wear is starting to appear but as you can see in the photos that’s really no issue at all!
